Jill Brown
Jill’s lifelong love of color, texture, and creativity first took shape in childhood and has evolved into a vibrant journey through quilting, fiber art, and fused glass. Never one to limit herself to a single medium, she launched FiberFusion Studios—a creative space where fabrics, glass, and imagination collide.
Her work includes everything from art quilts and quirky crocheted creatures to elegant rope-woven bowls and tote bags made from a single continuous piece of rope. She also transforms distinctive bottles into decorative trays, often combining them with fabrics or embellishments for a truly one-of-a-kind effect. Even her jewelry—playful and personal—is a testament to her boundless curiosity and love of making.
Jill’s first creative passion, quilting, remains a cornerstone of her artistic voice. Over the years, it has evolved into expressive art quilts that explore diverse themes and dimensions. Whether she’s working in fiber, glass, or a blend of both, Jill’s pieces reflect a spirit of experimentation and joy.
A longtime resident of Melbourne, Florida, Jill is a proud member of the Seaside Piecemakers, the Dirty Dozen Fiber Artists, and the international Studio Art Quilters Association (SAQA). She and her husband David—also an artist—often collaborate, fusing his ceramic sculptures with her fiber and glass artistry. After a 30-year career as an Occupational Therapist in Brevard County, Jill now devotes herself full time to her artistic practice, where every piece is an invitation to wander wherever the soul of an artist may lead.
