Have you ever wanted to try watercolor painting but didn’t know where to start? This beginner-friendly class with Harbor City Art watercolor artist Linda Neal is designed to help you build confidence from the very first brushstroke.

You’ll learn the foundations of watercolor — color, composition, value, and texture — while exploring fun and expressive techniques such as salt, alcohol, saran wrap, spattering, and more. Linda creates a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where beginners feel supported and returning students continue to grow.

To set you up for success, the first session includes a discussion on quality materials, where to buy them, and how to choose products that truly make a difference. Students are welcome to bring any supplies they already have.

Recommended Supplies:

• Artist-grade watercolors

• One or two good brushes

• Quality paper (300# Arches recommended)

• #2 pencil

• Paper towels

• Water bucket

• Terry cloth rag or sponge

• Board support

• Masking or Scotch tape

• Graphite paper for transferring

Start your watercolor journey with a caring instructor, great materials, and a creative atmosphere that makes learning fun.
