Watercolor for Beginners & Beyond | 6-Week Series | Tuesdays, Jul 28- Sep 1 | 10:00AM–12:00PM

$180.00

Have you ever wanted to try watercolor painting but didn’t know where to start? This beginner-friendly class is designed to help students build confidence from the very first brushstroke.

Students learn the foundations of watercolor painting — including color, composition, value, texture, and brush control — while exploring fun and expressive techniques such as salt, alcohol, saran wrap, spattering, and more.

The class is taught in a relaxed and encouraging studio environment where beginners feel supported and returning students can continue developing their skills at their own pace.

The first session also includes guidance on watercolor materials, including how to choose quality paints, brushes, and paper, along with recommendations on where to purchase supplies. Students are welcome to bring any materials they already have.

Recommended Supplies

• Artist-grade watercolors
• One or two quality brushes
• Watercolor paper (300 lb Arches recommended)
• #2 pencil
• Paper towels
• Water container
• Terry cloth rag or sponge
• Board support
• Masking or artist tape
• Graphite paper for transferring designs

Start your watercolor journey in a welcoming small-group studio designed for creativity, learning, and exploration.
