Watercolor for Beginners & Beyond | 6 Weeks | Tuesdays, Sep 15 -Oct 20 | 10AM-12PM
Never picked up a paintbrush before? You’re in the right place.
Many of our students begin with no previous watercolor experience. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn watercolor or are returning after years away, this welcoming class is designed to help you build confidence one step at a time. Complete beginners are encouraged, and students with some experience can continue developing their skills.
Professional watercolor artist Linda Neal provides personalized instruction in a relaxed, supportive studio where questions are encouraged and every student progresses at their own pace.
Over six weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including:
Color mixing
Brush techniques
Value and shading
Composition
Texture
Creating light and depth
As your confidence grows, you’ll also explore fun watercolor techniques such as salt, alcohol, plastic wrap, spattering, and more to create beautiful, expressive paintings.
A Few Things to Know
No drawing or painting experience is required.
Classes are intentionally kept small so every student receives individual guidance.
Students work at their own pace in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.
Whether your goal is to learn a new hobby, express your creativity, or enjoy making art with others, this class offers a welcoming place to learn, create, and connect.
