Take your watercolor painting to the next level with award-winning artist Dorothy (Dolly) Koliba, a member of the Brevard Watercolor Society. This four-week class is designed for artists who want to strengthen their technical skills while developing their own creative voice.
Through demonstrations, guided instruction, and individualized feedback, students will explore a variety of watercolor subjects while refining essential techniques, including color mixing, composition, value, transparent layering, brushwork, and creating light, depth, and texture. Dolly’s thoughtful approach encourages students to move beyond simply following steps and toward a deeper understanding of the watercolor medium.
Each class offers plenty of time to paint in a relaxed, supportive studio environment with personalized instruction tailored to each student’s goals and experience.
This class is best suited for students with some watercolor experience. Confident beginners are welcome but should have a basic familiarity with watercolor materials and techniques.
