Teach at Harbor City Art

Harbor City Art is a teaching studio and creative community built around professional creative practice, adult learning, and thoughtful public engagement.

We work with artists and makers who are interested in leading small-group classes and workshops in a calm, well-supported studio environment. Our programs are designed for adult learners and emphasize clear instruction, skill development, and meaningful creative experience.

Teaching Opportunities

Harbor City Art offers small-group classes, workshops, and seasonal specialty programs across a range of media depending on instructor experience, subject matter, and scheduling fit.

Many instructors contribute in different ways — through recurring classes, one-time workshops, demonstrations, or collaborative programming — depending on their practice and interests.

Who This Fits

We are especially interested in artists who teach clearly, work well with adult learners, and value a thoughtful instructional setting.

Programs that encourage repeat participation, steady skill development, and long-term student engagement are especially well suited to Harbor City Art.
