Join us in our garden pottery studio and learn to create with clay in a relaxed, small-group setting designed for steady skill-building, individual guidance, and continued growth over time.
Students are introduced to essential hand-building techniques—pinch, coil, and slab construction—then begin developing personal projects with one-on-one instruction at their own pace.
Class time reflects the natural rhythm of a working pottery studio: some students may be building, others refining, texturing, or glazing, while each receives individual support throughout the session. Rather than following identical projects, students develop forms and ideas that interest them, whether functional, decorative, or sculptural.
The emphasis is on enjoying the process while building knowledge, skill, and confidence with clay in a welcoming studio atmosphere. Students who complete this class and wish to continue may register for Open Pottery Studio, where they can keep developing personal work during open studio hours.
All materials and firings are included. Enrollment is limited to four students to ensure plenty of individual attention.
